One cabin catamaran is documented, the Celox 22, built from 1997 to 2003. Anyone acquiring such a boat today does so on the used market. The benchmark for the contract is then the replacement value, which we record as an agreed value and set down in writing.
This sum is stated in the contract and is replaced with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff the age limit of full hull cover does not apply. We insure regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, even with a build period that lies more than two decades in the past.
If a dispute with the seller or a yard arises after the purchase, legal expenses cover for water sports applies, which we also offer. Under the switching service we cancel a running previous contract free of charge, so that the transition succeeds without a gap between the contracts.
