Switching to a different boat insurance often fails not because of the will to do it but because of the paperwork. We cancel the previous policy free of charge, so that the new cover follows on seamlessly. For the motor boat Nauta Alumiiniumpaadid, which has been produced since 2011 and to this day, that applies just as it does to any other boat.
A single, continuously built model range is documented. What counts for the premium are the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never the brand. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you can take out the policy online; for higher values an individual assessment follows.
The full hull cover works with an agreed value and replaces with no deduction for depreciation (new for old); collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are included. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and the cover also applies in winter storage and during launching.

Nauta Alumiiniumpaadid is a motorboat from Nauta MV, built since 2011.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
