Three ranges are recorded, the cabin catamarans Elight 44, 50 and 70, built since 2018 and to this day. No further model ranges are available. Anyone taking over such a boat who is already insured elsewhere does not have to deal with cancelling the old contract themselves.
The switching service takes care of this cancellation free of charge. You then set the tariff level, Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium, and with it the limit of indemnity of the third-party liability from 10 to 50 million euros as well as the scope of the hull insurance for your own boat.
With larger catamarans the sum insured is an issue: up to 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that we examine each case individually. Full hull cover works with an agreed value and settles claims with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff without an age limit.

How does switching from another insurer work?
NAMMERT cancels the old contract free of charge. You choose the tariff level and the scope, we take care of the rest so that no gap arises between the contracts.
What applies with a high sum insured?
Up to 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online. If the value of the boat is higher, an individual examination follows in which we tailor the contract to the particular boat.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
