Worth knowing
NTRCPTR Boats; cover, cost and conditions
Two current model ranges are recorded, the 465 Tiller since 2023 and the INVDR 510 Tiller since 2022, both motor boats and both still in production today. Where such boats are used, on inland waters or along the coast, is recorded in the policy as the cruising range.
The cruising range affects the premium together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and engine output. If the waters change to those abroad, you receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages and do not have to request it separately.
With a new boat, full hull cover suggests itself: agreed value, compensation with no deduction for depreciation, plus collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. The boat trailer is covered at no extra premium within the boat insurance.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
How is the cruising range taken into account in the policy?
It is fixed when the policy is taken out and feeds into the premium alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and engine output. For trips abroad there is the international certificate of insurance in ten languages.
Is full hull cover worthwhile for a new motor boat?
Beyond limited hull cover it covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard and pays compensation up to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation.

Series by NTRCPTR Boats, build years and cover
465 Tiller is a motorboat from NTRCPTR Boats, built since 2023.
INVDR 510 Tiller is a motorboat from NTRCPTR Boats, built since 2022.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
