Placom Boats; cover, cost and conditions
Placom 450, Placom 650 and Sprint Tema are the three recorded motor boat ranges with build years between 1976 and 1993. No new boats are built from them any more. Anyone taking one over is buying used, and for that we agree an agreed value under full hull cover.
When buying used, the schedule is the first step: hull, engines and permanently installed equipment. From this the agreed value arises, on the basis of which compensation is paid in the event of a claim, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Previous owners and place of purchase play no part in this.
If the purchase leads to a dispute with the seller or with a yard, legal expenses cover for water sports applies, which we also offer. Damage to the boat remains the responsibility of third-party liability, limited hull cover and full hull cover, depending on the level chosen: Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium.
