At R & R Boatworks the Conch range comprises four models: the Conch 27 and the Conch 33 have been built since 2004, the Conch 30 and the motor yacht Conch 47 since 2014, all of them up to the present day. Production is therefore continuous, which changes nothing for the insurance, because the premium follows the boat, not the yard.
Whether a boat is used on inland waters or along the coast is defined when the policy is taken out and affects the premium. Added to this are the type of boat, value, year of construction and engine power. For trips abroad the international certificate of insurance is available automatically in ten languages.
Full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation. There is no time window and no night clause, and the trailer is included in the boat insurance free of charge.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
