Two ranges are in the programme, the Rapido 40 and 50 as well as the 53XS and 60, built since 2016 and up to the present day. The trimarans have folding floats, which affects berth and transport. Cover also applies during craning, during launching and in transport as well as in winter storage.
Cruising trimarans of 12 to 18 metres travel across borders. NAMMERT issues the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages, and the cruising range is agreed when the policy is taken out and is reflected in the premium.
With multihulls under sail, the sail area counts instead of the engine power for the premium. Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff upwards; races with scoring status you state when taking out the policy. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros cover can be taken out online.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Lifesaving gear, fire extinguisher, anchor, signalling equipment and correct navigation lights.

Rapido 40 / 50 is a cabin trimaran from Rapido Trimarans (Vietnam), built since 2016, and today changes hands at between €590,000 and €1,200,000.
Rapido 53XS / 60 is a cabin trimaran from Rapido Trimarans (Vietnam), built since 2018, and today changes hands at between €1,200,000 and €2,400,000.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a trimaran the floats and their beams are the weak point, on folding models the mechanism as well.
