Craning, launching and winter storage are covered, as is transport. Fifteen model ranges are on record for Skilsö, predominantly motor yachts such as the 33 and the 975 in the Arctic, Flybridge and Sport versions, built between 1973 and 2009.
Production is in the past, the boats are used boats today. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners; full hull cover works with an agreed value and indemnifies with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit for the boat.
Damage in winter storage is already part of limited hull cover, together with fire, storm, lightning strike and the theft of the entire boat. For motor yachts the premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range.

Is there insurance cover during craning?
Yes. The cover applies during craning, during launching, in transport and in winter storage. Damage in winter storage is additionally an express part of limited hull cover.
How does the year of construction affect the contract?
The year of construction feeds into the premium but does not stand in the way of the contract. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, in the Premium tariff with no age limit on full hull cover.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
