Skylark RIB is listed with 30 rigid inflatable boats from 3.7 to 7.2 m. The series are called BR, F and R and come in versions such as CL, LE and S, from the R 365 CL to the BR 750 LX. Build years run from 2013 into current production.

Skylark RIBs are in the trailerable size class. Liability is the base cover, and hull cover should include engine and trailer transport. For recent build years an agreed fixed value based on the purchase price is a good choice.

What this means for the cover

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.

On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
