Since 2020 and still today the Sterk 31 RC has been built, the only range available for Sterk Yachts. On a motorboat the installed output is one of the details from which the premium arises, together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range.
Because production continues, both new units and units already used come into the contract. They are treated in the same way, because the premium never follows the brand. The place of purchase and previous owners also remain without significance for acceptance.
On the hull side an agreed value applies, which is replaced with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. The trailer is included at no extra premium, and cover extends as far as winter storage.

Frequent questions
Why are you asked about the output of the engine?
It is one of the factors of the premium, alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. After an engine change you should report the new output.
Does it make a difference whether the boat is new or used?
Not for acceptance. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. What is decisive is the value, which we agree as an agreed value.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Sterk 31 RC is a motorboat from Sterk Yachts, built since 2020.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
