Worth knowing
Technicomposit; cover, cost and conditions
One cabin catamaran is listed, the French Cat, built from 1985 to 1993. A multihull too stands ashore at times. The cover from NAMMERT applies in winter storage, during craning and during launching, without you needing a separate agreement for it.
Damage in winter storage is already part of limited hull cover, together with fire, storm, lightning strike and the theft of the whole boat. On the transport route the cover exists as well, and a boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
For a year of construction from the eighties or nineties the agreed value is what counts: the indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, the brand changes nothing in the premium.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Does the cover also apply during the storage period ashore?
Yes. Damage in winter storage is part of limited hull cover, and the cover exists during craning, during launching as well as on the transport route, with no time window and no night clause.
Are multihulls classified differently?
For the premium the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area or engine power and cruising range count. The brand remains without influence on the calculation in every case.

Series by Technicomposit, build years and cover
French Cat is a cabin catamaran from Technicomposit, built from 1985 to 1993.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
