Two ranges run under Craft Yachts, the Baltica 660 Weekend as a motor boat since 2015 and the Optimist as a sailing boat since 2017. Whether at the berth or ashore, cover from NAMMERT continues to apply: winter storage, craning and launching are included, as is transit.
Damage in winter storage belongs to limited hull cover, as do fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat. A boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. The hull cover knows no time window and no night clause, it applies around the clock.
Because a motor boat and a sailing boat stand side by side in the programme, the premium factors differ: with the motor boat the engine power counts, with the sailing boat the sail area. Type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range apply to both, the brand stays out of it.

Is the boat protected outside the season as well?
Yes. Cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and in transit. Damage in winter storage is already covered through limited hull cover.
How is the Optimist sailing boat range calculated?
With sailing boats the sail area takes the place of the engine power, and the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range are added. Club races are included from the Basis-Plus level upwards.

Craft Yachts Optimist is a sailing boat from TMP Group Poland, built since 2017.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On boats this size the condition of rig and fittings decides. A dismasting is covered, worn terminals after years are not.
