With a sailing catamaran the sail area takes the place of engine power. It feeds into the premium together with type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. Club regattas are included from Basis-Plus, and races with scoring status you state when taking out the policy.
Cover also applies during launching, during craning, in winter storage and in transit, and the trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Small series and self-builds can also be insured with us. Two further Topcat models are recorded.
