Worth knowing
X-Craft; cover, cost and conditions
Explorer is the name of the only range recorded for this brand, a motor boat with years of build from 1995 to 2001. Anyone crossing the border with it presents the international certificate of insurance in the harbour, which is issued automatically in ten languages.
It belongs to the policy and does not have to be requested separately. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium.
The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of build, engine power and cruising range, never on the brand. Full hull cover with an agreed value settles claims with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old") and covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Is a separate certificate needed for trips abroad?
No. The international certificate of insurance is issued automatically in ten languages and is part of the policy, so that it can be presented in the harbour.
Does hull cover also apply outside the season?
Yes. Cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route.

Series by X-Craft, build years and cover
Explorer is a motorboat from X-Craft, built from 1995 to 2001.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
