Zen Marine; cover, cost and conditions
RIB Zen 39 is the only recorded range, an inflatable boat with an engine from the years of construction 2019 to 2023. Nothing further is available about the yard. The premium follows type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range anyway, never the brand of the manufacturer.
A boat from these years now changes owner on the second-hand market. If defects come to light after the purchase, a legal dispute can arise from it. We also offer legal expenses cover for water sports, and it applies after the purchase of a used boat just as it does in a dispute with a yard.
For the boat itself, full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. The trailer is included at no extra premium, and cover applies during launching, on the transport route and in winter storage, with no time window and no night clause.

Frequent questions
Is legal expenses cover worthwhile before buying a boat?
It applies in a dispute after the purchase of a used boat and in disagreements with a yard. Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered in addition to the boat insurance.
How quickly is a RIB covered?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online. An existing policy with the previous provider is cancelled by us free of charge in the switching service.

Series by Zen Marine, build years and cover
RIB Zen 39 is an inflatable with engine from Zen Marine, built from 2019 to 2023.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
