A-1.3 Tenders, Watercraft Liability Insurance, Premium
Clause A-1.3, Tenders, from Watercraft Liability Insurance, Premium, AVB WSH Premium (01-2025nam).
German law applies; only the German wording is binding.
This English text is a courtesy so you can read what you buy, not a contract document.
Where the two differ, the German text decides:
Cover also extends to tenders that belong to the insured watercraft and are used in connection with it. In addition, trips with tenders of up to 10 square metres of sail area or with motor propulsion are also co-insured without a direct connection with the mother ship, provided they do not go more than ten nautical miles from it. A further condition for cover is that the tender meets the following definition: a tender is a boat carried by a larger watercraft which in principle serves to ferry the crew and passengers or to rescue others in distress at sea.
The premium for your own boat is one page away, with a price and without a form.
