Where the two differ, the German text decides:
Co-insured is 1 the personal legal liability of the skipper (master) in that capacity; 2 legal liability arising from participation in regattas. Cover is granted on a subsidiary basis, that is, in the event of a claim the insurer steps in only if and so far as no other insurer is obliged to pay compensation or can be called upon (for example group insurance through a sailing club). Practice runs connected with this are also insured; 3 the personal legal liability of the ship's crew and of other employees and workers arising from the performance of their duties for the policyholder. Excluded are liability claims for personal injury that are occupational accidents and occupational illnesses in your business under Book VII of the German Social Code. The same applies to service accidents under the provisions of civil service law inflicted in the exercise or as a result of service on members of the same office; 4 the legal liability of the policyholder arising from towing water skiers, kite fliers, wakeboarders, and occupants of bananas and tubes; 5 by way of derogation from clause A-6.2.6, legal liability arising from damage to jetties hired for mooring, and to storage rooms and parking spaces hired for housing or storing the insured boat, and all financial loss arising from it. The insurer's maximum indemnity equals the amount of the agreed sum insured per loss event. The total benefit for all insured events of an insurance year is twice that sum insured.
