This English text is a courtesy so you can read what you buy, not a contract document.
Where the two differ, the German text decides:
1 Not insured are claims of the insured persons for which a social insurance institution or social welfare institution is obliged to pay. German law applies to the contract. The German wording of the conditions alone is binding; this translation is provided for understanding only. 2 Not insured are claims so far as benefits for the loss can be claimed under a property insurance (for example household contents or hull insurance), a legal expenses insurance or a liability insurance existing for the party causing the damage. To establish the absence of cover, the insured person must agree the further procedure with the insurer. 3 There is no cover if the party causing the damage caused the loss intentionally. 4 Not insured are any interest, contractual penalties and/or costs of legal action incurred.
