Where the two differ, the German text decides:
(The German original numbers the three paragraphs of this clause A-1.2.1, A-1.2.2 and A-1.2.3 instead of A-15.2.1 to A-15.2.3.) A-1.2.1 There is cover for search and assistance costs incurred through the unintentional triggering of emergency rescue equipment such as an EPIRB or DSC (distress signal) without an emergency situation existing, so far as these costs cannot be reimbursed elsewhere.
A-1.2.2 The insurer's benefit is 20,000 euros per loss event. The insurer's annual obligation to pay for losses requiring compensation as a result of the unintentional triggering of rescue equipment is limited to a total of 40,000 euros.
A-1.2.3 A deductible of 10 per cent, at least 500 euros, applies to every insured loss requiring compensation, and is to be borne by you.
