A-4.4 If you or a co-insured person obtain the right to demand the cancellation or reduction of an annuity payable, the insurer is authorised to exercise that right. German law applies to the contract. The German wording of the conditions alone is binding; this translation is provided for understanding only.

A-4.5 At your request, the insurer pays damages for property damage at new value. The maximum indemnity is limited to 1,000 euros per insured event and insurance year. At the time of the damage or destruction, the damaged or destroyed item must not be older than 12 months from the date of purchase. The burden of proving the date of purchase lies with you. If the date of purchase cannot be proved, there is only an entitlement to indemnity at current value. Damage to the following remains excluded: 1 mobile communication devices of any kind (for example mobile telephones), 2 computers of any kind, including portable computer systems (for example laptop, tablet PC), 3 film and photo cameras, 4 glasses of any kind.
