A-10.1 Deductible.
A-10.1.1 The provision under A-4.4 does not apply.
A-10.1.2 By way of derogation from A-4.3, the following applies: the deductible is always deducted.
A-10.1.3 In the case of theft, the agreed deductible is doubled, unless the jet ski was demonstrably kept in a locked room, building or on an enclosed property.
A-10.2 Obligations before the occurrence of the insured event.
A-10.2.1 During your permanent absence from the berth (including in winter storage), the jet ski must be secured against unauthorised use, for example by being placed in a locked room, building or property, secured with a safety line to a jet ski pontoon, or housed in a marina in a way protected against external interference. Permanent absence is a period during which use of the jet ski is interrupted for a longer time and separate securing measures are typically required by objective standards.
A-10.3 Exclusions.
A-10.3.1 By way of derogation from A-6.5, theft and wilful and malicious damage to the jet ski by third parties are also co-insured where it is not stored on an enclosed, locked site or is stored in an unlocked building. In the case of theft, the provision under A-10.1.3 must be observed.
A-10.3.2 to A-10.3.3: same wording in Hull Basis, clause A-9
