Where the two differ, the German text decides:
You have cover where a court or authority in the following areas has or would have legal jurisdiction and you pursue your legal interests there: in Europe, in the states bordering the Mediterranean, in the Canary Islands, in the Azores on Madeira. Exception: in administrative legal expenses cover, cover exists exclusively where a German court or a German authority has jurisdiction.
