Where the two differ, the German text decides:
If we have to sue you, we may bring the action at the following places: If you are a natural person, at the court of your place of residence. (A "natural person" is a human being, as opposed to a "legal person"; that is, for example, a GmbH, an AG or an association.) If you have no place of residence, we may bring the action at the court of your habitual abode. If your place of residence or habitual abode is not known at the time the action is brought, at the registered seat of our insurance company or at the seat of the branch responsible for your contract. If you are a legal person or a general partnership, limited partnership, civil law partnership or registered partnership company, the court at your seat or your branch has jurisdiction.
