German law applies to the contract. The German wording of the conditions alone is binding; this translation is provided for understanding only. If you wish to sue us, you may bring the action at the following places: at the seat of the insurance company or at the seat of the branch responsible for your contract, or, if you are a natural person, also at the court of your place of residence. (A “natural person” is a human being, as opposed to a “legal person”; that is, for example, a GmbH, an AG or an association). If you have no place of residence, you may bring the action at the court of your habitual abode.
