Where the two differ, the German text decides:
A-2.1.1.4 No permanent impairment benefit on accidental death in the first year. If the insured person dies as a result of the accident within one year of the accident, there is no claim to the permanent impairment benefit. In that case we pay the death benefit (A-2.2).
