Where the two differ, the German text decides:
We are obliged to declare in text form within one month whether and to what extent we acknowledge our obligation to pay. For the permanent impairment benefit the period is three months. The periods begin as soon as we receive the following documents: proof of how the accident happened and of the consequences of the accident; for the permanent impairment benefit, in addition, proof that the medical treatment has been completed, so far as this is necessary for assessing the degree of permanent impairment. Please also note the rules of conduct in A-6. We bear the medical fees you incur to substantiate the claim to benefit.
