Where the two differ, the German text decides:
After the degree of permanent impairment has been assessed, changes in the state of health may occur. You and we are entitled to have the degree of permanent impairment reassessed medically each year. You and we have this right for no longer than three years after the accident. If we wish a reassessment, we inform you of this together with the declaration on our obligation to pay. If you wish a reassessment, you must inform us of this before the period expires. If the final assessment results in a higher permanent impairment benefit than we have already paid, interest of 5 per cent a year is payable on the additional amount.
