The following principles apply to all types of benefit involving reimbursement of costs: German law applies to the contract. The German wording of the conditions alone is binding; this translation is provided for understanding only. 1 The condition is that no third party (for example a health insurer or liability insurer) is obliged to reimburse the costs, or that the third party disputes its obligation to pay. So far as another party liable to pay compensation does not step in, the claim to reimbursement can be asserted against us if your claims against other parties liable to pay compensation are assigned to us. 2 The benefits and costs named in these insurance conditions must be proven to us by original invoices bearing the reimbursement or rejection note of another party liable to pay compensation (health insurer, party causing the accident and the like) and, where applicable, medical certificates on the necessity and the prescription.
