Where the two differ, the German text decides:
A-2.1.2.2.5 Permanent impairment benefit on the death of the insured person. If the insured person dies before the permanent impairment has been assessed, we pay a permanent impairment benefit under the following conditions: the insured person did not die as a result of the accident within the first year after the accident (A-2.1.1.4), and the other conditions for the permanent impairment benefit under A-2.1.1 are met. We pay according to the degree of permanent impairment that would have been expected on the basis of the medical findings.
