Where the two differ, the German text decides:
If at first only the existence of the obligation to pay is established, we pay appropriate advance payments at your request. Example: it is established that you will receive a permanent impairment benefit from us. The amount of the benefit, however, cannot yet be determined. Before the conclusion of the medical treatment, a permanent impairment benefit can be claimed within one year of the accident only up to the amount of an agreed death benefit sum.
