This English text is a courtesy so you can read what you buy, not a contract document.
Where the two differ, the German text decides:
After the degree of permanent impairment has been assessed, the state of health may change. You and we are entitled to have the degree of permanent impairment reassessed by a doctor annually. This right is available to you and to us for at most three years after the accident. If we wish a reassessment, we inform you of this together with the declaration on our obligation to pay. If you wish a reassessment, you must inform us of this before the period expires. If the final assessment results in a higher permanent impairment benefit than we have already paid, interest at 5 per cent a year is payable on the additional amount. German law applies to the contract. The German wording of the conditions alone is binding; this translation is provided for understanding only.
