Two A4 pages for the file: sheet 1 takes the boat details and every job carried out, sheet 2 the recurring items with the usual interval, the last date and the next one. File the invoices and the test certificates behind it, then after a claim it is on record that the boat was maintained.

Wear or damage, this is where it is decided
Hull cover pays for sudden damage, not for wear. A record without gaps shows that an engine failure did not come from maintenance left undone, and that is exactly where many claims fail.
