The BSC 62 / 78 and BSC 100 / 120 model ranges have been produced since 2005 and 2010 respectively and are still built today. Powered boats of this size are rated by engine power.

Full hull cover covers theft of parts including the outboard, as well as collision, grounding and vandalism. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online, above that an individual assessment follows.

Engine power is one of the factors alongside type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. A more powerfully engined boat is rated differently from a weakly engined one, regardless of the manufacturer.
Can a twelve metre rigid inflatable boat be insured online?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros online conclusion is possible. If the value is above that, we assess the individual case and prepare an offer for it.

BSC 62 / 78 is an inflatable with engine from BSC (BWA) (Italy), built since 2005, and today changes hands at between €45,000 and €120,000.
BSC 100 / 120 is an inflatable with engine from BSC (BWA) (Italy), built since 2010, and today changes hands at between €140,000 and €320,000.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
