Check the trailer and the transport, to print out

One sheet for the road and for the ramp: the outfit and the weights at the top, below them twenty points to tick off, from the locked coupling through wheel bearings and straps to launching and craning. Go through it once before every trip, sign it, keep it.

With NAMMERT the trailer is included in the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, uncoupled and while manoeuvring as well. Transport damage ashore and while launching is covered by the hull insurance. Trailer boats are particularly exposed to theft, though: a fitted tracker reduces the hull premium by 10 per cent.
