Buster from Finland builds aluminium boats and is known in Scandinavia for small motorboats. Aluminium takes an impact better than GRP, but brings electrolysis along as a subject of its own.
Corrosion caused by missing or spent anodes is wear and tear and is not covered by any hull insurance; documented anode changes are the effective remedy. Otherwise the outboard logic applies: enter the engine with its power and serial number, because otherwise only the hull is covered in the event of theft. With us the trailer is included at no extra premium, also when uncoupled and while manoeuvring.
