How do I enter four outboards in the calculator?
Enter the total power of all engines and state the number and individual power in the application. Only then is the value of the engines fully represented and beyond dispute after a loss.
Is a coastal cruising area enough for offshore fishing?
Usually not. If you head out several nautical miles to fish, choose a correspondingly wide cruising area. A loss outside the agreed area is not covered, even if it happens only a few miles beyond it.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
