Damor builds motorboats from 3.2 to 9.8 m: from the small Damor 300 via the 460 and 600 Folcika to the 800 Fjaka, 900 Furia and 980 Fjera. Build years start in 2016, so the fleet is young.
The small models up to about 6 m are trailerable, so liability forms the basis and transport belongs in the hull cover. For the young fleet a fixed agreed value secures the agreed sum long term.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
