ESPADON BOATS is listed with 16 RIBs between 2.7 and 10.1 m. The types are numbered throughout, from the Espadon 270 via the 325, 355, 435 Pro and 450 Pro to the 550, 625, 770 and 1000. The Pro and CL lines run side by side, with the 1000 CL Cabin added on top. Production has run since 2004 and continues today.
A 2.7 m tender and a RIB of over ten metres with a cabin are two very different insurance cases. For the small units third party liability is the base, with transport and storage alongside. For the large ones the value including engines and electronics counts, as does a precisely named cruising area, and for build years from 2004 an agreed value is the steadier basis.

What should be watched on an Espadon 1000 CL Cabin?
Above ten metres, engines, cabin fit-out and electronics carry real weight. They should be part of the agreed value, as should berth and cruising area.
Is an Espadon 270 covered as a tender?
If it runs under the mother yacht's policy it can be carried there. As soon as it is driven independently under engine, its own third party liability is the safe route.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
