E&T Marine; cover, cost and conditions
E&T Marine covers a broad range of 65 models between 1.9 and 6 m. Thirty-four of them are RIBs and thirty-one are inflatable boats. The types are numbered throughout, for example 240 ALU, 270, 270 ST, 290 Sport SE, 300 ALU, 320 ST and 330 ALU, with the suffixes separating the individual versions. Production has run since 2010 and continues today.
Boats of this size are almost always transported, carried on deck or stored over winter. Third party liability is therefore the base, and transport and storage are the most important inclusions. The value comes from boat and outboard together and should be stated in full. For the early build years from 2010 an agreed value is the clearer basis than a market value.

Frequent questions
What do the ALU and ST suffixes mean for insurance?
Length, construction and value decide the cover, not the suffix. What matters is stating whether the boat is an inflatable or a RIB and which engine it carries.
Can a 1.9 m tender be insured?
Yes. Very small boats can be covered too, usually through third party liability. If the tender runs under the mother yacht's policy, separate cover is only needed once it is used independently.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
