Pro Marine; cover, cost and conditions
Pro Marine is listed in our records with 8 models, 7 of them rigid inflatable boats from 5.5 to 7.5 m in length. The range is shaped by the Helios series with 23, 25 and 72 and the Manta models 550, 610 and 680, built since 2019. The older Pro 25 sailing yacht from build years 1999 to 2007 completes the list.
RIBs of these sizes are trailerable and usually carry strong engines. For insurance, liability is the base, hull cover should include engine and trailer transport, and the combined value of boat and engine belongs in the application.
NAMMERT insures Pro Marine boats regardless of year of build and place of purchase. The premium for Pro Marine insurance is calculated in the online calculator in about 5 minutes.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Does NAMMERT insure a Manta 680 RIB?
Yes, the Manta 680 of around 6.8 m can be insured with NAMMERT. Liability as the base, while hull cover protects hull, engine and trailer transport together.
Is the outboard engine covered on a Pro Marine RIB?
Yes, the engine is part of the hull cover. It is important to state the combined value of boat and engine so the insured sum is correct.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
