Pyranha has been building whitewater kayaks in England since 1971 and is one of the brands that shaped the scene, and Ripper, 9R and Machno are creek and freestyle boats made of polyethylene for demanding whitewater. What is covered are events: the hull being slit open, a break after being pinned in a siphon, the loss of the boat on an open stretch, theft from the roof rack. These cases occur less often than the scratches, but they are the expensive ones.
