Brema boats are classic fishing boats with a V hull, mostly between four and five metres long, steered with a tiller or from a console. They stand on the trailer, run on lagoons, lakes and along the coast and are often combined with an electric motor plus a small petrol engine. For the insurance this means: two drives, and both belong in the contract.
On fishing boats the equipment is the underestimated value. A fish finder, bow motor, batteries and rod holders quickly add up to more than the hull cost. Permanently installed technology is included in the hull insurance if it has been taken into account in the value of the boat. Include it rather than forgetting it.
On lagoons and along the coast the weather is the risk factor. Small boats become demanding from wind force 4, and offshore wind is the main risk. With us the personal accident cover applies to everyone on board, and it also applies when getting in and out, where most falls happen.

From 15 hp yes, below that no. The boat already has to be marked from 3 hp, and a fishing permit and a fishing licence are required as well.
