With 22 recorded ranges the programme is broadly based; the models carry names such as Alga, Baczek, Bekas, Dorota, Dudek and Jacek and are listed as motor boats. They have been built since 2003 to the present day. For motor boats the engine power is one of the factors that count towards the premium.
Whatever is to be covered on board belongs in the schedule for the sum insured, from the navigation electronics to the fixed equipment. Only in this way is it part of the agreed value. Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Since the ranges are built to the present day, young boats and older second-hand boats meet here. Both are insured regardless of the year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Cover can be taken out online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros; above this limit we review the individual case.

Frequent questions
What belongs in the schedule for the sum insured?
The boat with its fixed equipment as well as the electronics and accessories that are to be covered. This schedule is the basis of the agreed value and thus of the compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Does the same cover apply to new and used boats?
The scope depends on the tariff tier chosen, not on the age. We insure regardless of the year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners; in the Premium tariff the full hull cover applies with no age limit.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.
Waters
Inland, coastal and abroad; plan fairways, bridge clearances, draught and tides.
Equipment
Lifesaving gear, fire extinguisher, anchor, signalling equipment and correct navigation lights.
Cruising range
The agreed cruising range is stated in the policy and can be extended at any time.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
