No model ranges are held for Klunder Engineering. In our own portfolio there is the PA6, and it is insured with us. Missing catalogue data is no obstacle: we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and small series and self-builds are insurable too.

What counts for the application is your information about the boat. The premium and the cover are determined by the type of boat, year of construction, value, engine power and cruising range, not by the name of the brand. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online; above that we examine the application on a case-by-case basis.

We write third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. In the full hull cover you agree an agreed value, and settlement is made with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered; the limited hull cover takes on fire, storm, lightning strike and theft.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
