The recorded programme of Mayland comprises forty-six model ranges, almost all of them motorboats: Fisherman, Maestro, Crestar, Firefish and the Dinghy ranges, built between 1972 and 2012. A 16 and a cabin boat of this brand are insured with us.

With motorboats a considerable part of the value lies not in the hull but in the engine, the electronics and the fixed equipment. List these items in the schedule so that the agreed value in the full hull cover includes them. Theft of parts including the outboard is covered.

In some ranges production continued until 2012, in others it ended earlier. This is of no significance for the contract: we provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, and the premium follows the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never the brand.

Frequent questions

Are the echo sounder and the radio on board a Mayland insured as well?

Permanently installed equipment belongs in the schedule accompanying the contract. It is then covered by the agreed value in the full hull cover, as is theft of parts including the outboard.

Is there an age limit for older Mayland models?

In the Premium tariff the agreed value is paid out without an age limit and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Acceptance into the contract does not depend on the year of construction either.
