The level you choose determines the scope: Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium differ in the limit of indemnity and in the hull cover. In the Premium tariff the full hull cover has no age limit for compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Depending on the tariff level, 10 to 50 million euros. Third-party liability is the basis; limited hull cover and full hull cover can be built on it, the latter with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Do you need details of the manufacturer in order to take out cover?

No. We calculate with the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros cover can be taken out online.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

Registration

Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Waters

Inland, coastal and abroad; plan fairways, bridge clearances, draught and tides.

Lifesaving gear, fire extinguisher, anchor, signalling equipment and correct navigation lights.

Cruising range
