Worth knowing
Woma; cover, cost and conditions
One range is recorded, the houseboat Woma D 13, listed since 2019 and up to the present. No further model ranges and no details of origin are available. Cover is therefore based solely on the data of the boat, that is the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output and the cruising range.
If a policy already exists with another provider, we handle the switch: NAMMERT cancels the old policy free of charge. After that you choose between Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium, with third-party liability of 10 to 50 million euros limit of indemnity as the basis.
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online; above that we examine the individual case. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the road. In full hull cover an agreed value is set and payment is made with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
What happens to the existing policy when switching?
We cancel it free of charge through the switching service. You provide the data of the boat and choose the tariff tier, up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros directly online.
Is a single recorded model range enough for a policy?
Yes. What counts for the policy are the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output and the cruising range of the specific boat. Details about the manufacturer are not required for this.
The cover that fits
For the whole class of boat
What matters for your boat depends less on the brand than on engine output, how a claim is settled and the waters you sail.

Series by Woma, build years and cover
houseboat Woma D 13 is a motor yacht from Woma, built since 2019.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
