Twenty-four ranges are recorded under Xylon, among them the Tümmler models 87, 105, 130 and 160 as well as the Tümmler G 34, G 39 and G 40 with years of construction from 1968 to 1996, plus the motor boat XR 760 from the years 1993 to 2000. Boats from that period are traded second-hand today, and the value should be clarified before cover is taken out.
In full hull cover that is done by way of an agreed value: it is agreed, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation and in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Whatever electronics and equipment are on board should appear in the schedule, so that the agreed value reflects the actual scope.
A production run that stretched over almost three decades brings forth very different specification levels. For the premium the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range count. The basis remains the third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in three tariff levels.

How do I cover a boat from the nineteen-seventies?
With third-party liability as the basis and, as you choose, limited hull cover or full hull cover. The value is agreed as an agreed value, and in the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit.
Does retrofitted equipment count towards the insured scope?
It should be recorded in the schedule so that it is included in the agreed value. Compensation is then paid with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
