The span from 9 to 24.5 m means two different routes. For the smaller boats the standard route applies: length, value, engine power and cruising area determine the premium. On the large models from around 20 m upwards, crew, tenders, changing berths and a higher liability limit come into play, and the cover is built individually.

Frequent questions
What does the number on the Prestige models mean?
It gives the length in decimetres, so a Prestige 200 measures around 20 m. For the policy the length in metres from the registration papers always counts.
From what size does the calculator no longer work?
From around 24 m we build the cover individually. Crew liability, tenders, changing berths and a higher liability limit then come into play.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
