More Boats; cover, cost and conditions
Two model ranges are recorded, the More 40 / 45 since 2015 and the More 55 since 2018, both still in production today. The figures given are lengths of 12 to 17 metres and a layout of these Croatian performance cruisers for charter and racing. For the policy that means: the intended use belongs on the table.
Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff upwards. Races with scoring status you report when taking out the policy, so that they are in the contract from the start. With yachts that are stated to be designed for racing, this point belongs in the first conversation and not in the claim notification.
With sailing yachts of 12 to 17 metres the sail area takes the place of the engine output, and value, year of construction, type of boat and cruising range are added. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that we review the individual case and draw up a separate quotation.

More 55 is a sailing yacht from More Boats (Croatia), built since 2018, and today changes hands at between €420,000 and €620,000.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
